On Friday, May 15th at 7pm you’ll want to be at the Gallivan Center for this event! We’ll be showing off the great bikes, clothes and accesories for bicyclists that can be found right here in Salt Lake City!

Salt Lake City adds more bike lanes each year, making it easier and safer for cyclists to get around. The downtown area, too is getting more “bikable” yearly, so cyclists can easily commute into town for work,  to shop, or have lunch at one of the many great restaurants in the city. I often see men commuting into town in the morning and it is true, men are more likely to commute and make a cycling trip than women. So I am excited to see more women on bikes stopping to eat at one of the many restaurants with bistro tables and chairs on the sidewalk in front. To me, that signifies that women are feeling more comfortable cycling around the city–and that is fabulous–it is great! Another car trip NOT taken! A better carbon footprint left behind–and incidentally, a few calories are burned instead!
